CHITRAL: Hashim Bibi is the only woman who earning her livelihood by keeping honey bee (selling honey) and running a handicraft center. She living at a very remote village of Dragranut of Tehsil Mastuj some 120 KM from here. She running a sewing center and keeping honey bee to sell honey and earn livelihood.
(SOT). She said that she is a very poor woman and her husband is also jobless and that is why she keeping honeybee to sell honey. She said that due to no access to big market local honey which is 100% pure is selling only @ rupees 400 per kilogram. She said that raw material like wooden box is very costly and no one supporting her. Even her family member too ignoring her. She requesting government and non governmental organizations to support (financially) such women who running small business and earning their livelihood. She advised other women to comer forward in this field and keep honey bee to promote this business and provide honey in maximum quantity.

2. Tremendous flood damaged 2 bridges at Yarkhun River. As a result hundred of people deprived from land route connection. The flood also swift away so many houses and erosion land on a large number. After damaging two pedestal and jeep able bridge at river people living across the river facing numerous problems. People of the area temporarily disparate (shifted) to some other safe place. Besides it school going children also deprived from education is there is no alternate land route to come to schools. People opening falling their houses to save infrastructure, wood, doors, windows etc from flood and to shift it some safe place.
(SOT) a flood affected person complained that our cultivable land was erosion by flood, our cattle died by flood and dozens of goats strained in the middle of river they were besieged (fetter) by flood while they grazing on the bank of river.
(SOT) A local women who is sick and recently shifted from hospital packing their goods in house to shift and migrate some other safe place an other woman Shakira Naz who is also captain of Focus humanitarian assistance (NGO) said that focus provided a single tent to each family of flood affect. She said that our elected representatives not visited the area until now and they waiting of Govt relief and compensation fund for flood affected families.

There is a narrow and dangerous pedestal bridge at the river a man was miraculously survived from felling down in river when he was crossing this bridge like well of death. The flood damaged hundred of houses, one micro hydro power house, irrigations channels, roads, paths, crop and cultivable land on the bank of river. A narrow and suspension bridge at Snogher also causing of major accident any time as people crossing it by feet because of there is no alternate route and the only jeep able bridge have been damaged a year ago by flood. The flood affected people are still awaited of donor agencies for their rehabilitations.
