It was recent that a wax statue of the Fuhrer and Nazi leader Adolf Hitler would go on display. As soon as the doors opened, the second visitor vandalized the statue by decapitating it. The statue was without a head afterwards. This wax dummy of Hitler would be displayed in Berlin, Germany.
However, Frank L, the assailant, would be hailed as a hero across Germany. According to one person, it was an assassination of Hitler that was overdue. That should put a smile on the face of Phillip Friherr von Boeselager. Boeselager died back in May at the age of 90. For those that do not know about Boeselager, he is the German military officer that attempted to assassinate Hitler. He tried twice and failed twice.
Technically, former policeman, Frank L, has taken out Hitler. Former West German Chancellor Will Brandt’s wax dummy was in the same room. Brandt was in the Anti-Nazi resistance.
Critics of the statue explain that Neo-Nazis would be gathering there.
In a nutshell, Frank L is considered a hero in Germany now. Many critics and politicians across Germany are not angry at all. Also, Frank L is not apologetic for decapitating the statue of Adolf Hitler.
