There is a huge difference between “Free Will” and “Free Choice.
“Free Will”, is God’s privilege as Creator and Holy Father.
This is made evident in the book of Genesis when God speaks, and it becomes so, during the time of “Creation”. Almighty God willed it to be and it was so.
Mankind does not have such abilities. If we did have such ability, we would be Gods.
Man can no more will something into being so, than an alchemist has of turning lead into pure gold, or, for a man to get pregnant and give birth or, being able to control the weather. Not one of these is possible for man to simply will.
Even when we pray the Lord’s Prayer, we state; “Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.”
Man though is given the freedom the privilege to “Choose” to choose whether or not we will follow the laws and the teachings of Almighty God or not.
This freedom to choose is also first witnessed in the book of Genesis, as Adam and Eve were given the “Choice” whether or not to obey God’s Holy Commandment not to have anything to do with the “Tree of Knowledge, of Good and Evil”. Eve is deceived and tempted by the Devil Satan, and she in turn convinces Adam to commit the first sin of disobedience to God. Adam through Eve, chooses to be disobedient, chooses to doubt God, and chooses to defy God’s one commandment to them.
Free Choice is a God given privilege, and it is the one and only privilege that Satan was and is not ever permitted to mess with, concerning his temptation of man. Man must freely choose whether or not to worship and obey either God or Satan. JOB: 1:12:
Jesus in the Gospel of MATTHEW, demonstrates his power as the Son of God as he goes walking out to the disciples walking upon the sea, and of course Peter tries to do the same, but becomes scared and fails. Jesus simply willed himself to do this.
Jesus through the Gospels at the time of his being handed over by Judas and his crucifixion submits himself to God the Father’s “Will” rather than being disobedient to His Father’s “Will”.
