About Excellence on Tour (EoT)
The “Excellence on Tour” is an initiative of the German Government and the German House for Research and Innovation (DWIH New Delhi). This unique multi-city Road Show brings together academics, researchers, scientists and aspiring students from India and Germany to present their cutting-edge research work, enhance knowledge and forge career opportunities in Germany – “The Land of Ideas”.
The “DWIH New Delhi – EoT” is designed and set-up in a multi-functional pavilion, created by internationally renowned German artist, Mr. Markus Heinsdorff. Combining India’s rich textile legacy with state-of-the-art German technology, the design and lay-out of the Pavilion depicts shapes and patterns of precious gemstones of India.Planned as a three city event, this road show has successfully been conducted in Hyderabad and Ahmedabad in 2013 and is travelling to Kolkata this year in March.
