Gohkeer Irrigation Channel damaged. Student Distinction

Early construction of Gohkeer irrigation Channel urged.

CHITRAL: Due to recently continuous raining and flash flood irrigation channel of Gohkeer village has been damaged more than 2 kilometers long as a result standing crop on hundred of Acre of land is being drying and wreathing. Like other parts of the country and district Chitral cultivable land, standing crops and other infrastructure of Gohkeer village has been damaged by heavy flood and the only irrigation channel of the area was also washed away more than 2 kilometers which was fell down 200 feet below as a result standing crop over hundred of Acre of land is being drying and ruining. Former general councilor of the local union council Khush Habeer Khan told local journalists that due to damaging of irrigation channel 1200 families are badly suffering because they have no other source of income except of farming. He appeal to provincial as well federal government to release special fund for re-construction of Gohkeer irrigation channel so as to save their standing crops from drying.

Student  distinction.

Student topped Chitral district in F.Sc pre Medical examination.    Khwaja Tabreez Wali Shah son of Khwaja Bulbul Wali Shah resident of Jinjirat Koh Drosh who is a student of G.D. Langland School and College Chitral secured 885 marks out of 1050 Marks in F.Sc (Pre Medical) annual examination and topped Chitral District. He attributed his brilliant success towards prayers of parents, patronizing of teachers, personal hardworking and best environment of his educational institution. He has also been declared first position holder in his matriculation examination.
