Yesterday whistleblower news site WikiLeaks released a violent video from the United State armed forces showing official video documentation of a military operation in New Baghdad, Iraq. Two Reuters employees and six other individuals are killed in the attack, which was later to revealed to be in error. The US soldiers who carried out the attacks were acting under orders and appear to follow all protocol during the film.
Regardless, the video is shocking to civilian eyes.
WikiLeaks claims that Reuters had been trying to obtain the video through the Freedom of Information Act.
The Associated Press has confirmed the authenticity of a violent video depicting the combat death of two Reuters employees caused by American soldiers in New Baghdad, Iraq.
The footage was featured on the homepage of Al-Jazeera yesterday, and is likely to incite anti-American sentiment across the Arab world.
