Have you ever woke up in the morning, looked out the door, and said "Today I’m going to do something big and I mean BIG!!" Than the end of the day comes and your sitting at home watching primetime television trying to figure out where your day went wrong. This is something that happens to me all of the time and I think I want a change. But, that right there is the problem "I think" I want a change, note the quotation’s. Everyday I wake up and I want this day to be different than the last, but, I always end up doing the same thing today I did yesterday.
Needless to say I’m in a rut and it is starting to get deep. I’ve always wanted to be part of something big, a revolution so to speak. Then when the time comes for me to be a part of something I do absolutely nothing. I’m sure there are a lot of people out there feeling the same way today or yesterday or will feel this way in the days to come, and will probably do the same nothing that I always do. Maybe it’s to much TV or to many game systems or to much to do on the internet. Maybe it’s even being to busy with the family or to busy working or to busy in general.
Whatever reasons we may have not to do something that may have a major impact on our lives or someone elses lives I’m sure it’s a good one. Right. OK I don’t think I have ever had a good enough reason to stop trying to do that one BIG thing that I want to do when I wake up in the morning. The problem is I just don’t do it. I’m sure that many of us out there are the same way. Except the ones reading this saying "I really am to busy." So maybe you are really busy and maybe you only have a few hours a week to yourself and you don’t want to waste those chasing a lost dream or vision you’ve had, right. The games on this weekend so you can’t go out and try to fulfill this dream or vision that you wake up every morning thinking of but never doing. Or maybe your Xbox has been lonely because you’ve been out all week working or going to school or raising your children.
OK, OK, OK, so there are plenty of reasons, or excuses, for why you can’t make a difference. Everyone has hectic lives in there own way. Maybe your a couch potato who can’t miss there favorite shows 24 hour marathon or maybe your a big time gamer who can’t pass up the chance to go for the win. Maybe your a busy CEO or maybe a busy housewife or father who just can’t get a way from there children long enough. WRONG. There is no reason you can’t use an hour or two a day or four hours a weekend trying to accomplish whatever your dream is. Now I’m not saying you all are lazy people I’m saying I am and I’m trying to convince myself here to stand up and do something. At the same time I’m trying to just make a point and that point is never stop chasing what you want to accomplish be it a dream, a vision, or just a project just complete it even if it takes you years upon years. Then at least one day we can all say that we did something that we wanted to do all of our lives and we didn’t put it off, we just did it.
