I recognize pain from the absence of love
warmth of a smile, glitter in the eyes, a kiss,
a pining for scented hair,
a moment of sheer pleasure
fulfilling the mind, body, soul and heart
to trigger a meltdown of contentment.
Not a moment squandered or vacant
periods of pleasures and lusts
to maintain and preserve our passions
express what was shared in oneness.
Eyes divulged happiness of consummation
of affections, moods and pleasing responses.
I recognize suffering from the absence of you
loneliness, emptiness, companionship and love.
Existences uncover a soul aching inside
hungry for togetherness and familiarity
pushes aside injuries bruising the mind…
a heart and soul cries out for an end of the times.
I recognize pain from the absence of love
enduring the dearth of reality without you…
I recognize pain from the absence of your love.
