‘SAME PLACE SAME TIME TOMORROW’ BY- Neelabjo Chatterjee, Ronita Das, Ruksar Ali, Pritha Basu, Shatabdi Roy, Rajni Jain
It was a fiction film. The concept was strong. In a day to day life we see a person on the road & instantly feel a strong connection but more often than not, the feelings are not mutual but it’s about trying & not regretting. The guy tried but the girl didn’t show up and with an open ending. The question mark remains, what happens next? That’s up to the audience to draw their own conclusion. The bottom line, doing an outdoor film was especially difficult but they pulled it off.
‘THE OBSESSION’- Aditi , Aditya dalmia, Dipankar Bird, Durga Shaw, Ananya Basu, Manali Biswas.
The plot revolved around obsession with nail polish and the vanity surrounding it, a unique concept and good visual impact. It was limited to only 10 shots. It focused only on hands not on faces. It was nice and fun to watch.
‘THE VOID’- Anirban , Abinanada Ray, Antara Mondal, Debapriya, Javlonbek.
It was created to capture the surreal theme and was conducted well. It was an intriguing concept. The last scene bordering more towards horror than surrealism, moreover they wanted to portray the void it left behind with an open ending.
‘THE SHEHERWALI CUISINE’- Shilpa, Subhajit Biswas, Rohit, Nabanita, Sumana Saha, Rikzing Bhutia.
It was a relaxing nice documentary film to watch which catered all the mouth watering food of Murshidabad.
On 15TH OF JAN the films were shown by BMS sem 2 screened from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.
‘THE CONFESSION OF A TRAVEL BAG’- Rijuta, Shreejeta, Disha.
This was a stop motion film.
‘MUFFIN LOVE’- Anirudh, Faaiz, Akash.
The concept was wonderful and loving.
‘ECO LOVER’- Shubham, Sumaira, Harshita, Junaid, Abhijit, Abdul.
In this movie the special effects were really superb.
The concept was really nice with toys.
‘IS THIS IT’- Shreejeeta, Shivangi, Gagan Preet.
