Jammu, November 27, (Scoop News)- Lambasted National Conference for their wild cries to repeat their old rhetorics to avoid accountability for their non performances and indulges in search of excuse to shift their responsibility for failure to fulfill popular aspirations of the State. Sham Lal Sharma, Sr. Congress leader, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control addressing election meetings in Bhardal and Gandharwan stated Jammu demand restoration of its dignity and deliverance of Justice.
He described NC demand for Autonomy as irrelevant since the overwhelming participation of people of militancy effected state in democratic process has substantiated Congress stand that people of the three regions need development, progress and prosperity, least bothered about any political gimmicks either from NC or BJP or someone else. Mr. Sharma said security matters and ground level situations to be left at the discretion of those who are responsible for maintenance of Security and law & order.
Mr. Sharma highlighted his party pledges said alone Congress addressed the popular aspirations of the Jammu in particular promised Regional Development Council empowered by the Constitutional necessities and special package/reservation to residents at international Borders and onetime settlement to DPs/Refugees of POJK the recommended proposal already sent to Central govt. but rejected by them with ulterior motives.
While addressing the huge gatherings at Gandharwan and women’s voters as Bardal, he claimed his performances during 12 years to develop Akhnoor and provide all kinds of amenities such as Higher Education, Drinking water, Health Services, Roads Connectivity, Power and agricultural inputs has visible impacts which requires continuing efforts and he on merits appealed their overwhelming votes. Mr. Sharma urges upon the women voters that they are the builder of any good society and should adjudge his appeal for their votes because what during last 12 years as MLA and Minister he aimed to better and progress entire neglected areas of the Constituency.
