Jammu, September 26 (Scoop News)- J&K Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah this afternoon visited Hira Nagar and inspected the Police Station which was raided by terrorists, killing police personnel. He went to the house of martyred Suresh Kumar, stayed with the bereaved family and conveyed his sympathy to it.
The Chief Minister also visited Samba Army Camp and paid tributes to the martyred Army personnel who lost their lives in terrorist attack.
The Chief Minister interacted with the Army officers and conveyed his condolence to them. He prayed for peace to the departed souls. On the occasion, Maj General, Balbir Singh briefed the Chief Minister about the attack.
The Chief Minister also visited Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu to enquire the status of those injured in the two terrorist attacks at Hira Nagar and Samba.
Earlier, the Chief Minister soon after arriving here chaired a high level meeting of Police and Civil Administration to receive first hand appraisal of the ground situation and the barbaric attack of terrorists at two places in which precious human lives have been lost.
Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, Legislator and Provincial President, NC, Jammu, Devender Singh Rana, Principal Secretary Home, Suresh Kumar, Director General Police, Ashok Prasad, various senior Police and Civil Officers were accompanying the Chief Minister.
