Jammu, February 12 (Scoop News) – A group of six young Indian Police Service Officers, who have been allotted to the Jammu and Kashmir State cadre, called on N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here this evening.
They are Rayees Mohammad Bhat, who hails from Jammu and Kashmir State; Rajiv Pandey from Maharashtra; Manicka Raj from Tamilnadu; Shridhar Patil, Maharashtra; Manish Agrawal, Uttar Pradesh; and Udayabhaskar Billa from Andhra Pradesh. The first five IPS Officers are of 2010 batch while Billa is of 2008 batch.
While interacting with these young IPS Officers, the Governor urged them to work with zeal and high devotion to maintain public order and normalcy in the State. He observed that fairness and complete honesty must be the bench mark of their future service in the State.
The Governor wished them a most successful career in the Indian Police Service.
