JK Governor, CM, Ministers, legislators greet people on Eid-ul-Azha

Srinagar/Jammu, October 15(Scoop News)- J&K Governor N. N. Vohra, Chief Minster Omar Abdulla, Council of Ministers,legislators and other leaders of political parties have greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

N. N. Vohra, Governor, has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and prayed for their well-being and prosperity.
In his message of felicitations, the Governor hoped that this festival would further strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood, amity, tranquility and the glorious pluralistic ethos for which Jammu and Kashmir has been known for centuries past.

The Governor prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.

Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has felicitated people on Eid-ul-Azha wishing them well-being and prosperity.
In his Eid message issued here today, Omar Abdullah said that the holy occasion of Eid-ul-Azha imbibes in us the spirit of making sincerity and truthfulness way of life.“This holy day also teaches us to uphold the high principals of selfless service to Almighty Allah and the humanity”, he added.
“Allah Almighty counts the sincerity and purity of our intention behind performing our service for His sake, and this alone earns us His munificence and forgiveness”, he said.
Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand has greeted the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
In his messages, he hoped that this auspicious occasion would further strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood and usher the state into a period of sustained peace, progress and prosperity.
He also prayed for the well-being of the people of the State.

Various Cabinet Ministers and legislators have felicitated the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and hoped that the festival will bring joy and happiness in the lives of millions of people across the globe particularly in Jammu and Kashmir and will usher a new era of prosperity and Khushali in the State.

In their separate felicitation messages, they extended their greetings saying that the festival would be harbinger of peace, prosperity and happiness for the people of the Country especially for J&K State.They hoped that the festival will further cement the bonds of love, amity, brotherhood and communal harmony which are the hallmark of state’s composite culture and pluralistic ethos.

The Ministers include Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs Abdul Rahim Rather, Minister for Rural Development Department Ali Mohammad Sagar, Minister for Enterprises, Haj, Auqaf and Floriculture Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Minister for Forests Mian Altaf Ahmad, Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for Higher Education Mohammad Akbar Lone, Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Minister for Urban Development and Local Bodies Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for Roads & Buildings and Mechanical Engineering Abdul Majid Wani, Minister for CA&PD and Transport Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, Minister for Tourism Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Minister for Planning and Labour Ajay Sadhotra, Minister for Housing and Horticulture, Raman Bhalla, Minister for Social Welfare Sakina Itoo and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Mir Saifullah .

Likewise, Minister of State for Cooperatives Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Minister of State for Health Shabir Ahmad Khan, Minister of State for Information and Technical Education Vikar Rasool, Minister of State for Revenue Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Minister of State for Animal and Sheep Husbandry Nazir Ahmad Gurezi and Minister of State for Science & Technology and School Education Feroz Ahmad Khan have also greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

Speaker, J&K, Legislative Assembly Mubarak Gul has extended greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

In his felicitation Message, the Speaker said that the festival would be harbingers of peace, prosperity and wellbeing for the people of the State, hoping that it would also strengthen the bonds of love, amity and communal harmony among various sections of society.

Chairman, J&K Legislative Council, Mr Amrit Malhotra has extended his greetings to the people of the State, particularly Muslim brethren, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

In his felicitation message, the Chairman asked Muslim brethren not to forget needy and destitute sections of the society and extend helping hand towards them while celebrating the Eid-ul-Azha. He appealed them to pray for peace, prosperity and welfare of State while offering Eid prayers. He said that our common objective must be to work for welfare and socio-economic emancipation of destitute and weaker sections of the society.

Advisor to Chief Minister, Qamar Ali Akhoon today extended the greetings on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha to the people of the state.

Deputy Chairman, J&K Legislative Council Javid Ahmad Rana has extended greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
In his felicitation Message, Rana said that the festival would be harbingers of peace, prosperity and wellbeing for the people of the State, hoping that it would also cement the bonds of love, amity and communal harmony among various sections of society.

Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly Sartaj Madni also extended greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, saying that the festival would herald a new era of peace and prosperity in the State.

Legislators M.Y .Tarigami and Hakeem Mohammad Yasin have also felicitated people of the state on the auspicious day of Eid-ul-Azha.

The Director General of Police, Ashok Prasad has greeted all ranks of Jammu and Kashmir Police and their families on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha.
He has expressed his hope that the festival would bring joy and happiness among the cops, their families and the families of police martyrs. He also expressed hope that this Eid will usher an era of prosperity and equality in the state, and strengthen the bonds among different sections of the society.
Prasad in a message has said that the festival reminds us to share our joys with destitute and deserving, and on this occasion we have to re-affirm to extend our helping hand to the needy people. He has also prayed for peace and prosperity in the State.

The Director General Prisons, K. Rajendra Kumar has extended his warm felicitation to the officers and jawans of the Prisons Department and the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha.
In his greetings, Rajendra has said that the occasion teaches us to reaffirm our commitment towards the brotherhood and selfless service to humanity. Our sole motive should be to serve the society with dedication and spirit of sacrifice.
On this occasion, Rajendra prayed for the well being and happiness of the families of all ranks of Prisons Organization and the people of the State.
