After discussing various issues regarding sports activities, the Divisional Commissioner impressed upon the concerned officers to frame up sports action plan for this year in consultation with NYK and submit the same till March 15 this year. He asked them to include not only school going children but also the drop outs so that the sports activities are taken up on a big scale in the valley. He said Chief Minister is also according priority to this sector so that our talented youth are able to participate in the national and international competitions. Samoon said the action plans should be prepared in such a way that the sports activities are carried after school hours also which would help for the talent hunt also.
