After week-long dramatic scenes, the police have taken godman Santhosh Madhavan alias Amrutha Chaithanya into custody.
The godman was taken into police custody early this morning from outside the city limits, said the police. But the police have so far not confirmed his arrest officially.
Santhosh Madhavan is being questioned under a team led by assistant commissioner P M Varghese, in an undisclosed place in the city.
Meantime, the Kerala High Court will consider his anticipatory bail plea filed by the godman this afternoon. The Kerala police have arrested state’s one of the most revered god man Santosh Madhavan for being involved in an alleged fraud case.
The police is interrogating Madhavan but have refused to disclose the location.The god man was running for cover from the police ever since he was accused of fraud by a Dubai-based Indian woman.
