Key To Dispelling Superstitions Is Rational Approach: JVV

Relentless Efforts of JVV To Develop Awareness

Proddatur (GR-TYP-BIN): District Convener for Cultural Division of Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV), Mr. Devadattam emphasized that rational approach is the key to dispelling superstitions. JVV Conducted a Magic Show in George Coronation Club on July 5.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Devadattam said that JVV has been striving relentlessly for the last 28 years to develop the scientific temper and rational thinking among the masses. We are extensively running the campaigns against some superstitions such as Banamati, Witchcraft and Fish Medicine. He added that the union government has honored JVV with national award for the outstanding services.

Principal of Ravindra Bharathi High School Mrs. Sunitha said that the magic shows help us to develop the scientific awareness. People are still tending to foster the superstitions despite the scientific advancement.

Executive Member Mr. Tavva Suresh Reddy said that JVV has exposed the fake babas and their tricks through the magic. He called upon the people not to believe them anymore.

Later, Magician Mr. Sujan Kumar performed some magic tricks and demonstrated how to perform them.

16th Ward Councilor Siva, JVV Members Venkatarama Raju, Krishna Reddy, Gopinatha Reddy, Venkateswarlu, Vijayamohan Reddy, Venkateshwarlu, Hemalatha, Ramana, Jinka Subramanyam, Srinivasula Reddy, M Konda Reddy, Penchalaiah, Murali Gupta, Bhaskar Reddy and others participated.
