Kristen Bell of “Veronica Mars” has finally made her debut on “Heroes” in the “Fight or Flight” episode. It was confirmed several weeks back that she was going to be a regular for season two of this hit series for Fall TV of this year. She plays a girl named Elle who is an agent for the company. Out of curiosity, we were wondering what power Elle was going to have. It is revealed that Elle possesses the power of electrokinesis giving her the ability to generate and manipulate the power of electricity.
At first, I was wondering why they would give Elle a power this pretty cliché. But, the special effects of Elle using the powers of electricity were very great. Though, it seems to be logical for someone like Elle to have the powers of electricity. It is stated on one source that Elle is the source of Peter’s absorbed ability of electricity. This looks to be extremely logical as Elle is looking for Peter. It too was also stated that Elle has a connection with Peter Petrelli and Claire Bennet.
It may look as Elle is one major sociopath as she killed Ricky, who took Peter Petrelli in. Also, it’s revealed that Elle is the daughter of someone in the company. Elle very much did a number on Ricky’s body. It could be revealed the reason Peter ended up in Ireland is that he was on the run.
Monica Dawson comes into terms with her abilities of photographic reflexes. We get to see more of Monica Dawson as she signed on to be a regular for this season of Heroes. In this episode, we are treated to Monica Dawson utilizing her newly discovered abilities. Luckily, Micah Sanders is around to explain to Monica that this may run in the family. He explained how his parents had abilities.
In the future, we can possibly expect both Damon Dawson and Nana Dawson to reveal their powers later on in the season. But for now, I’m pretty satisfied with watching how Monica Dawson is coming into terms with her powers. It may look that her powers may come in handy as Micah said that she’ll need to be checked.
I found it interesting that Monica decided to use her powers to learn how to double-dutch on the jump rope. It looks that Micah is going to play the role of mentor to Monica. But Micah seems to be nicer than Claude in that aspect.
Monica tries to tap into her skills by watching all sorts of things on TV. It may look that Monica Dawson is going to be the martial arts fighter in Heroes. That was something I’ve been waiting for when I was watching the first season.
Micah could possibly be crossing paths with the Company again. If and when that happens, Monica’s definitely going to be in for the ride. Perhaps, Micah may be reunited with Molly Walker again as she is in custody of the Company. It seems to be the case as Mohinder Suresh had come knocking on the door almost at the end.
Matt Parkman is reunited with his father after he left them for over seventeen years. It is revealed that is father might be also able to read minds. But it may not be the case as Matt and Nathan got lured into some nightmare realm where they had to confront their inner most fears. And the two of them ended up getting into a fist fight with each other and not knowing.
It seems that it’s confirmed that Matt Parkman’s father is the person in Molly’s dreams. At least I feel much better after knowing who the nightmare man in Molly’s dreams is. But, I’m curious to see why Molly considers Matt’s father to be far worse than Sylar. However, that’s something I’m going to have to watch later on in the series.
In Peter Petrelli’s case, it looks as if he has to go to Montreal, Canada. It looks as if something major is going to happen in Montreal.
We also get to see Niki Sanders once again as she is being “treated” by the Company. At least we know what has happened to Niki the last few episodes after she dropped Micah off to live with DL’s relatives.
So far, this proved to be a pretty interesting episode. I’m wondering what are Claude’s whereabouts as he told Peter not to look for him after his attempted capture at the hands of the Company.
