Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized In London With Rare Virus

Lindsay Lohan is in a London hospital where she ostensibly caught an incurable rare virus in Bora Bora.

TMZ was told that Lohan contracted Chikungunya, a virus transmitted by mosquito bites that triggers fever, joint pain and fatigue.

Lohan was vacationing in Bora Bora for the holidays and then flew to Los Angeles to shoot an Esurance Commercial which TMZ believed was for the Super Bowl.

She started to complain of being ill just before New Year’s; and decided to return to London where she continually became so ill that she could not walk.

Lohan is in King Edward VII’s Hospital, which is the same hospital that treats the Queen. Doctors are keeping her because of her high fever and unbearable joint pain.

The prognosis for Lohan is said to possibly cause joint pain that could last for six months.
