Srinagar/ Jammu, August 10 (Scoop News)- Chairman, J&K Legislative Council Amrit Malhotra expressed grief and shock over the incident occurred in Kishtwar District yesterday which claimed two precious human lives and left several injured.
The Chairman condemned the incident, saying that such incidents put blow and weaken the centuries old composite tradition which is hallmark of the State. He appealed the people for maintaining amity, peace and communal harmony.
In his condolence message, Malhotra expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He also directed the administration for providing best medicare to the injured and wished for their early recovery.
Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly Mubarak Gul extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the persons who were killed in Kishtwar incident yesterday.
Terming the incident unfortunate, the Speaker said that such incident should be condemned by one and all as these happenings create wedge among the people of different faiths. He also appealed the people for maintaining communal harmony and brotherhood.
In his condolence message, Gul expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He also wished for early recovery to the injured.
Minister for Roads and Buildings Abdul Majid Wani termed the KIshtwar incident ill-fated, saying that such incidents put threat to the entire peaceful atmosphere of the state.
Condemning the yesterday’s Kishtwar incident, Wani condoled the deaths of persons whose lives were lost, praying that may Almighty offer courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
Appealing the people for maintaining communal harmony and calm, the Minister urged them not to be carried away by emotions as it is not favourable for the composite ethos of the State….
