"Famous and ancient shrine of Mata Tripoor Sundri in South Kashmir hills of Devisar will have Maha Yagya for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir on 29th of
May,2012", Mata Tripoor Sundri Asthapan Committee President T K Dhar said.
Located in thick woods of Khanabarni-Devsar in Kulgam district of South Kashmir, Tripursundri shrine is famous shrine of J&K, which is thronged by over 50 thousand pilgrims during twin annual festivals and round the year.
"Devotees were requested to book their participation in the camp office at Durganagar Jammu", he said adding that Every effort will be made for the success of the Yatra.
He said that final arrangements are being in this direction to make this year festival cum yagya as a very success.
Some prominent saints from outside the state are expected to attend the Maha-Yagya at Tripur Sundri Asthapan for the welfare of the mankind, Dhar said.
