The Uttarpradesh Chief Minister Mayavati is trying her best to extend the base of her party BSP in the other parts of India. We all know that Bahujan Samajwadi Party under the leadership of Ms.Mayavati captured power in the State of Uttarpradesh spectacularly defeating her other rivals like Samata Party and the Congress I in the recently held assmebly elections in the UP.It was also termed as victory for Dalits and their uprising .
Ms.Mayavati spurred by her success in the UP tries to extend the base of her party in the other states of India. On 23/12/2007, her party BSP organised a meeting called "Brotherhood Day",in Bangalore, in which Ms.Mayavati spoke castigating all other parties like BJP, Congress I and other regional parties as they have done nothing in the past 60 years despite of holding power time and again in the centre and in the states and the poverty still is lurking its ugly head and the condition of the downtrodden community especially the people belonging to SC,ST, BC and MBC communities remained same. There is no any improvement in their life and their economic status remained stagnant. She also referred to the reservation scheme extended to the SCs,STs and BCs,etc in the private sector also in the UP and called upon the central government to implement it in the other states. She also pointed out that though she repeatedly requested the Central Government to extend the reservation system to the private sector also, it was simply ignored by them. Therefore, her party is committed to providing reservation to all communities including those upper class people who are economically poor.
Therefore Ms.Mayavati called upon to reject all parties both at the centre and the states and vote for her party BSP to implement the welfare schemes she referred to and to uplift the poor people from poverty.
