After the bats went wild on Saturday for game three things were the complete opposite for game four Sunday as the Cardinals were held to two hits and were blanked 2-0.
Derek Holland started for Texas and came within two outs of pitching a complete game shutout. He was lifted in the ninth with one out after allowing no runs on two hits, walking two, with seven K’s. Holland is now 2-0 and the series is tied at two games each.
The Texas offense scored four runs on six hits with eight walks.
Mike Napoli homered for Texas and had three RBI.

Huge game five on Monday in Texas as the Series heads back to St. Louis for games six and seven if needed. St. Louis could be going home needing just one win should they win game five in Texas
If Texas wins game five St. Louis will need to sweep at home.
