Srinagar, January 19 (Scoop News) –National Adventure Foundation (NAF) J&K Chapter Kashmir is going to organise Snow Skiing Courses at World famous Ski Resort Gulmarag in the first week of February.
Statement said that the interested boys and girls belonging to the weaker sections of the society and far flung areas of Kashmir Valley are asked to submit their registration forms upto 25th of February 2012 at Sonwar Srinagar.
NAF J&K Chapter Kashmir is working for the promotion of adventure Sports in the State. NAF conducts adventure programmes under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India particularly for the boys and the girls of the weaker sections of the society and youth of far flung areas.
NAF J&K Chapter Kashmir organised one day week end adventure programme at Mulfaq Harwan in Srinagar on 15th of April 2011 in which large number of boys and girls participated.
Director Information Department J&K Farooq Ahmad Renzu and the then Director Pollution control board J&K Farooq Ahmad Geelani were invited as guest of honour on the occasion. Four day long rock climbing adventure programme was also conducted by NAF J&K Chapter Kashmir at Handwara in Kupwara district from 22nd to 25th of November 2011.
Sixty boys and girls from different district of the Valley participated in the programme. Another week end adventure programme was also organised at Handwara in Kupwara district on 26th and 27th November 2011. More than 100 boys and girls participated in the programme. Former Cabinet Minister of J&K and MLA Handwara Choudhry Mohammad Ramzan was the chief guest on the occasion. NAF J&K Chapter Kashmir will organise different adventure programmes in 2012 at different places of Kashmir valley for the youth of weaker sections of the society.
