NC Students’ Union wins JURSEA elections

Jammu,ctober 25,(Scoop News) –  J&K National Conference Student Union (NCSU) wins the election of Jammu University Research Scholars Executive Association (JURSEA). Rakesh Chib, President of the NCSU was elected as President of JURSEA for the second time. All the six seats of the JURSEA were won by the NCSU supported candidates.

Varinder Singh Waris was elected as General Secretary, Inderjeet Kour as Vice President, Akshay Kumar as Joint Secretary, Gourav Kumar as Treasurer and Rachna as organizing secretary of the JURSEA.

 

The newly elected President of the JURSEA, Rakesh Chib while addressing the students of the University after the announcement of his election made by the Election Commissioner Professor Jasbeer Singh said “I am thankful to the students of the Jammu University for reposing faith in me and my party – J&K National Conference.        I am also thankful to my party and its leadership. I assure you all that I will work dedicatedly for the welfare for the students and will create an environment where the students’ fraternity has a say”.

 

He said our Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has a dream and a vision for the progress of the youth and students of our state.

 

“The youth and students of our state have found a new ray of hope under the dynamic leadership of Omar Abdullah whose government is working to create opportunities of employment in the state. The Chief Minister is focusing on skill development which also helps in creating employability among the youth and is a futuristic approach to tackle the problem of unemployment, he said adding that the NCSU will take the progamme and polices of the government to the youth and students of the state.

 

Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Devender Singh Rana, Rattan Lal Gupta Provincial President J&K National Conference, Jammu province, Surinder Singh Bunty Provincial President J&K Youth National Conference and other senior party leaders congratulated Rakesh Chib on his re-election as the President of JURSEA.
