N.W.F.P Minster for Population Welfare Saleem Khan warned line departments to serve Chitrali people.
CHITRAL: NWFP Minister for Population welfare Saleem Khan directed heads of all line departments of the district to render their services to people of Chitral to minimized tier problems he was addressing a public gathering at different parts of the district on his arrival to Chitral on his first official visit after taking charges of his office. He was warmly received by hundreds of party workers as well as people belong to all walk of life from Lawari Top to Governor cottage Chitral. People of Chitral also showered roses on Saleem Khan as the second Minister in the history of Chitral after 38 years of span of time. Earlier that he also visited under construction Lawari Rail Tunnel and was briefed by the Project Director Abdus Samad. The Minister showed his satisfaction on the speed and quality of the ongoing work and paid rich tributes to National Highway Authority and SAMBU Korean Construction Company.
He was addressing to a large number of public at governor cottage and thanked inhabitants of Chitral for trusting upon casting their precious votes in his favor. He assured to left no stone unturn for uplifting Chitral. He stressed upon the party workers to maintain unity among them and to work for strengthening the party. A large number of people attended the function. He also thanked the central and provincial leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party parliamentarian for nominating him as provincial Minister. Besides him PPPP president and general secretary M. Hakeem Advocate also spoke on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony Hakeem Khan advocate general Secretary of PPPP announced regarding Saleem official visit of different areas he said that Minister will visit Koh area on April 24, Karimabad on 25, Arkari valley on 26, Garamchishama on 27, Sheshikoh valley on 28 and Birir, Rumboor, Bumborat of Kalash valley on April 29th.
