Obama Goes On Counter-Offensive Against Clinton On Iraq

While in a town hall meeting in Casper, Wyoming before the state has its contest, United States Democratic hopeful Barack Obama had launched a counter-attack against rival Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton who has slowed down his momentum by winning the primaries in Rhode Island, Ohio, and Texas. However, Barack Obama still retains a marginal lead over Hillary Clinton in delegates.

This counter-attack launched at Clinton is in regards to Iraq.

Senator Clinton used this to imply that I wasn’t serious about bringing this war to an end. I just have to mention this because I don’t want anybody to be confused,” Obama addressed the crowd at the town hall meeting.

He continued by adding: “I was opposed to this war in 2002. If it had been up to me we would have never been in this war. It was because of George Bush with an assist from Hillary Clinton and John McCain that we entered into this war. A war that should have never been authorized, a war that should have never been waged.”

While talking about the war, Obama would use the chance to attack both Clinton and McCain during his Q & A session. He attacked Clinton for using fear tactics for that one ad that aired in Texas.
