Obama, Middle East and the challenges in the coming days

Washington: The deteriorating security situation in Middle East, increasing extremism and Talibanization in Afghanistan and Pakistan, may give a very tough time to the new US President, Barrack Hussain Obama, after taking his office.

Apparently, the recent misadventure by the Israeli establishment in Gaza, would pose more menaces to the US policies and inclination towards Israel, may give a blow to the peace-efforts in the region, moreover, the public opinion could turn against the US in the Palestinian areas, whether Al-Fatah or any other moderate Palestinian group, present in the region.

The anti-US sentiments could be seen in shape of public anger all over the Muslim world where the masses are on the road, burning the Israeli and US flags along with the effigies of Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert and the US president George W. Bush.

Some 1000 Palestinians have been reported killed and thousands wounded in the 18 days of war in Gaza, this number includes a large number of children and women that has negated the Israel’s claim, waging a war against only Hamas and the US secretary of State’s statements in favor of Israel.

The establishment of a Zionist state in the heart of Muslim world in Middle East and pouring the Jewish settlers into this very sensitive part, without keeping in mind, the outcomes and the impact later because the Zionist state was established on the basis of bias ideologies therefore even after the six decades, the bloodshed has not to come to an end.

In addition, arming, providing the very sophisticated weapons along with technology to Israel by the US and Western countries, have yielded very negative outcomes, besides that giving free reign to the Zionist governments in past, allowing them to kill the indigenous people whenever and where ever they want, has given a sense of depravity to the Palestinians and the reaction could be seen in shape of rocket attacks from different Palestinian groups.

When we look profoundly at the number of the people killed in the conflicts between Palestine and Israel, the Jewish side suffered little whereas it looks like a preconceived plan of the genocide of the Palestinians by the imperialists after the colonialism.

A crucial moment for the US and the West, to review their policies towards Israel and Palestinians, and stop arming the Israel and the genocide, that may bring a stability in the region and stop the massacre.

It may also help in Afghanistan and Pakistan where the public opinion is changing, the masses are angry against the US policies and the leadership is the singing the English tunes, such things could give genesis to the revolutions, some coup d’etat  and political instability in the region.
