On Center Software, the first name in construction software, today announced the firm’s Quick Bid software will be including upgraded Armstrong Commercial Ceilings product and pricing data.
With Armstrong’s help, On Center Software has integrated hundreds of Armstrong ceiling materials and over 210 Armstrong Ceiling System Assemblies into Quick Bid, the firm’s signature estimating software product. Updated information on all Armstrong items, including seismic assemblies, will be included in the Quick Bid Interiors Database.
Quick Bid offers a pre-defined database of vendor pricing on project materials, as well as automatic functions for calculating labor rates, change orders, and estimated profits. Since its initial release over 20 years ago, Quick Bid has helped tens of thousands of estimators around the world.
“The combination of current Armstrong product data and On-Center’s integrated eQuote system puts accurate, competitive pricing at estimators’ fingertips,” said Angelo Castelli, On Center Software’s Director of Business Development. “I’m confident these construction professionals will be finalizing bids faster and more accurately than ever.”
Armstrong is the worldwide leader in manufacturing and marketing acoustical ceilings and suspension systems for commercial applications including offices, healthcare, education, retail, and transportation segments.
“The integration of Armstrong portfolio and prebuilt assemblies into Quick Bid has been designed to streamline estimators’ workflow and assure them that all the required parts and pieces are included in their estimates,” said Keith J. Johnson, Suspension Systems Technical Sales Manager for Armstrong World Industries, Inc. “This is a terrific partnership that benefits everyone involved.”
