Today nonprofit charity: water kicked off World Water Day with a stirring video calling for support to Haiti, where they state that even before the recent earthquake, 1/3 of the population had no access to clean water. Today, they say "the water situation is devastating."
In the video below, charity: water founder Scott Harrison relates how inspired his team was by the resolve of the Haitian people, recounting how a local villager told him, "our community has no money to give, especially now, but we are ready to give you our courage."
