New Zealand coach Andy Moles said "I personally think we need to play as much Test match cricket as possible," said Moles. "I’m sure the powers that be will have a look at the organisation of those games and the time available."
"Time willing, I think it would be a great thing to play as many Tests as possible and India are one of the better sides in the world so the exposure our sides would get from playing against India would be really important."
Chief executive of New Zealand Cricket Justin Vaughan said "We will have to wait till next week to discuss the matter and respond to the BCCI," Vaughan told cricketnirvana.com.
"It is that time of the year when a lot of our key members are away on leave."
