The Supreme Court of India has given its nod to implement one common entrance test for admission into all medical colleges. The earlier system, in which different private and government universities conducted their individual tests for admission into MBBS and Post-graduate medical courses, would now be replaced with one single common eligibility-cum-entrance examination.
