Jammu,December 16, (Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party has strongly condemned the attack on an army school in Pakistan.“Atrocity of this proportion should outrage the feelings of every human being”, PDP President and Member Parliament Mehbooba Mufti said in a statement issued here today.
Strongly condemning the attack she termed it as worst ever form of barbarism and crime against humanity. “My heart and thoughts go out with the parents and families of children who have lost their lives in the attack carried in Peshawar, Pakistan”, she said while expressing condolence and sympathies with the bereaved families.
Mehbooba said that such attacks are crime against the entire humanity and must be condemned in strongest words. “This is the worst crime that could have been perpetrated against humanity. Such attacks are sources of shame”, she said.
Jammu and Kashmir National Conference has also strongly condemned the inhuman and barbaric attack on an army school in Peshawar Pakistan on Tuesday.
In a statement issued from party headquarters, General Secretary Advocate Ali Mohammad Sagar has expressed deep shock over this barbaric incident in which around 140 innocent lives were lost today.
“We strongly condemn this inhuman act of utter barbarism. Innocent school going children over 100 of them have been martyred in this attack.
No religion especially holy Islam allows any such cowardly attacks on innocent people particularly women and children,” Sagar said.
He said our heart goes out to all the families who have lost their loved ones in today’s terrorist attack.
“People of Kashmir share their pain & offer our deepest condolences to the bereaved families. We pray to almighty to give patience and strength to the bereaved families to bear this immense loss,” Sagar said.
The National Conference leadership has said the attack is shocking and appalling and the terrorists have attacked the whole humanity today.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCJK) strongly condemned the Tehreek-e-Taliban attack on an army-run school in Pakistan’s Peshawar area in which more than 130 students were reportedly killed and said “those who committed such dastardly, inhuman and unislamic acts should not call themselves Muslims”.
“These enemies of Islam and Muslims have been committing such barbaric acts in the
name of Islam and there is an urgent need to eliminate them from the subcontinent,” party spokesman said.
