People in the world desire peace and tranquility and this relates to being able to accept others for who they are, for what they do, and how they believe and live. Love and acceptance of other people’s ways of life is what our society and world needs to achieve and to attain harmony and an ability to solve problems and to get along during differences of people’s views, world issues, and other problems.
The key to finding harmony throughout the world is to follow God’s word which says, “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.” (The Holy Bible, King James Version, Old Testament, Deuteronomy 6: 5)
People who follow God’s word will find love in their heart for “all” people regardless of their differences and they’ll reach to attain peace instead of evil in their daily lives. God’s word tells us in The Holy Bible, King James Version and New Testament, John 1: 1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
People first and foremost we should understand the “true” meaning of love and I have found that “The Apostle Paul” glorified love as the most important virtue of all. Describing love in the famous poem in 1Corinthians, Paul wrote, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. (1 Corinthians 13: 4 – 7 NIV)
People it is my belief that when “we” have love in our hearts there is “no” room for evil to destruct relationships in “our” daily lives and to destroy our relationships with our neighboring countries; because if love exists, people and governments will reach out to find an agreement to settle their differences without immediately bringing threats of violence and war against each other.
People who have love in their hearts have a desire to aid others and come to their rescue in times of trials and tribulations. Love equals patience, compassion, giving, understanding, sharing, solving problems, and stamps out festering hatred and bitterness before it gets out of control.
People it’s my belief that love draws families beyond their dysfunctional stages in children’s lives and prevents damage; therefore, leading to build self-esteem, self-confidence and trust in a family unit. Building a sound family atmosphere in children’s lives aids in the ability to control crime and violence in our society; and this also lessens prison life for many who would have become as a fallen soldier because of the “lack” of control in their family lives and their need for love.
People love is forgiving and it solves disagreements, hatred, wrong-doings; and it mends scars in minds and hearts, nourishes and heals putting smiles on people’s faces instead of frowns and it tears down walls of evil.
Love removes bitterness and hatred and it can then feeds on happiness and peace; and it reduces riots and disagreements ridding others of the desire to get even with another person or group. Love calms the soul and tends to a hurting mind; and it can snuff out speaking harshly to others and puts kind words in their voice; thus, stomping out evil.
God is light; God is love; and God is life.
