The situation in Peru regarding their national team gets worse by the day. After the news broke out of an orgy as well as other illicit activity being held at the hotel where that country’s national team stayed prior to the match against Brazil in Lima last month. Peruvian journalist Jaime Bayly broke the story while he stayed at the hotel at the same time that the national team was and distinctly gave details of the goings-on between players and "fans".

They were suspended indefinitely after the Peruvian Football Federation’s investigation mentioned the hijinx that the four players were up to while preparing to play Brazil in Lima on November 18th. The results of the investigation forced both José del Solar and Federation secretary Juvenal Silva to suspend the players based on their actions.
"A National Shame" was among one of the headlines splurged across some of the larger newspapers in the country.
According to reports, the players were responsible for bringing women, alcohol, and being involved in orgies at the hotel prior to the Brazil match. Photographs and videos were available, but players like Pizarro were not seen in any of them but according to investigations he was the ringleader.
So after these incidents del Solar and the federation were being accused of not being able to control their players. In addition, the Peruvian players demanded that they be given US$6,000 per head after drawing against Brazil. If they did not get the money, they would not fly to Ecuador. The federation did so, and ended up getting destroyed.
