Vegetarian Victoria Beckham was shocked after she received a turkey stuffed with skincare products as a Christmas gift from celebrity skin doctor Dr. Neetu Nirdosh.
The bizarre festive gift, which was intended to help Posh Spice combat the effects of her group’s world tour and air travel, didn’t seem to go down too well with her. A source revealed that the 33-year-old vegetarian was far from impressed with the Christmas present. “The thought of her using these products that have been stuffed inside a turkey is just nuts. She refuses to eat meat or wear fur so Victoria is far from impressed with it,” a newspaper quoted the source, as saying.
Earlier this year, the singer was unhappy when she learnt that a pair of lambs she was looking after for chef chum Gordon Ramsay were to be slaughtered.
Talking about it, a spokeswoman explained at the time, “Victoria was more than happy to let the sheep roam around her grounds but she will be distraught to learn they’re going to be killed.”
