The Minister was addressing a large gathering at Damhal Hanjipora yesterday which was attended by prominent citizens, academicians, intellectuals and scholars.
The Minister said that every individual should contribute his bit in translating the dreams of our great souls into action for accelerating pace of development in the State. She said, peace is imperative and should be maintained at all costs.
Ms Itoo further said that the new generation needs to be provided quality education both academic and moral so that their bright future is assured for betterment of the State. He said it is the sole responsibilities of both parents and teachers to work hard for preparing students to face challenges at the global level.
Referring to recent outshining of J&K youth in IAS, KAS and other competitive examinations, Ms Itoo said that there is no dearth in talent of J&K youth and there is great need to provide necessary facilities to them to excel in different streams. She said that youth deserve encouragement to give out better results in various competitions.
