Jammu & Kashmir:Senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, R. K Pardesi has lambasted Relief Organization for its arrogant and irresponsible attitude towards exiled Kashmir Hindu community. Addressing party workers at various locations in Jammu, Pardesi said that there were hundreds of cases pending seeking inclusion in ration cards whereas as per government orders no 163 of 2005 it has been ordered to accord sanction of benefits to new born babies with immediate effect.
Citing various examples of favouritism in allotment of tenements at Jagti, Pardesi alleged that only influential and agents of relief authorities have been given allotments where as the purely deserving and needful migrants has been pushed to wall for the reasons well known to authorities. “Despite assurances by revenue ministry for through investigation nothing on ground has been done so far” said Pardesi adding that government is toying with the sentiments of innocent migrants which could yield fatal results, if attitude of authorities continues to be the same.
Senior PDP leader said that dozen of patients died mercilessly for want of timely treatment but Relief Organizations failed to prove helpful despite being funded by central government for purpose under Security Related Expenditure (SRE). He questioned state government and relief authorities as to why Kashmiri Hindus are being treated as second class whereas funds sanctioned under similar category (SRE) for state employees security, monthly honorarium to PSOs and other activities are being spent well in time to rightful persons?
Pardesi asked that why Jagti under construction camp is not getting completed even after the end of four long years when it takes less time in constructing of mega housing colonies in metro towns of hundred times bigger amount. Senior PDP leader demanded that cases pending for inclusion should be taken with immediate effect, besides, deserving fillies should be given tenements in Jagti on priority.
