Jammu, December 04 (Scoop News) –BJP National Executive Member Dr. Nirmal Singh, while recalling in a recent move the state government on the orders of Home Ministry of Centre Government, has issued an order to move CRPF from Gandoh and Kishtwar which the local people of these areas are of firm view that these areas will become insecured and militancy will be intensified and so they oppose strongly the removal of CRPF from their area.
A deputation of several local people from Gandoh and Kishtwar met BJP National Executive Member Dr. Nirmal Singh, National Executive Member & MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma and State General Secretary Sat Sharma (C.A) to apprise them with the problems which will arise if CRPF is removed from the militancy affected areas of Gandoh and Kishtwar.
On hearing the news of removal of CRPF, as planned of Home Ministry a sense of panic has been spread among the local people. In fact people living there were feeling at peace and secured as CRPF was giving proper security services by curbing militancy. It must be remembered this was Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s favorite chant that he will withdraw AFSPA from the state and also that he favoured removal of security forces from the peaceful areas. This seems that removal of CRPF from militancy infested area of Gandoh and Kishtwar is part of that game plan which will prove fettle for the security of the state and militancy may again spring up. Therefore, this wrong step of the Home Ministry will result into fatal consequences. Now the members of the deputation showing the concern towards this wrong move by the Home Ministry strongly condemned this order of removal of CRPF and conveyed to the state BJP leaders Dr.Nirmal Singh, Jugal Kishore Sharma and Sat Sharma (C.A) to make efforts so that the state government take action and convince the centre government to revert the order of CRPF’s selective removal from that areas. BJP leaders assured them that they will take up the issue and convey this serious matter concerning the security of the state to the state government and other concerned quarters. Earlier, this deputation led by the above senior members of the party had also met IPG Dilbagh Singh who had assured them that he will take up the matter with the higher authorities of the State and the Centre for the safety of the people of that areas.
