JAMMU, September 25, 2013 :State Institute of Education (SIE), Jammu organized a colourful Mehfil-e-Mushaira competition in urdu here today in which twenty students from the ten districts of Jammu divisions participated and recited their original poems and other forms of Urdu literary genres. Joint Director Trainings/Principal State Institute of Education (SIE), Jammu H.R.Pakhroo chaired the programme and Joint Director (SE), Directorate of School Education, Jammu, S.K.Gandotra graced the occasion as Chief guest. Hitakshi Sharma of Govt. Higher Secondary School Samba, Sudesh Kumari of Govt. Higher Secodary School, Sumbh and Nadeem Iqbal Katoch of Govt. Higher Secondary School Ramban were adjudged as First, Second and third winners respectively. On the occasion the winners were also presented the trophies.
Earlier Shadi Lal Tengloo, Field Advisor and Head Language wing welcome the guests and participants. The programme was co-ordinated by Dr. Rabia Naseem, Research Officer (Urdu) and vote of thanks was presented by Tahira Parveen, Research Officer (Urdu).
