NEW-DELHI/ JAMMU AND KASHMIR: Senior Bhartiya Janata Party
(BJP) leader Ashok Khajuria alleged that stone-pelters are creation of NC and
PDP. “There are only 300 to 400 stone-pelters in Valley who are creating
disturbance and they are creation of these two parties.” On troop reduction in state,
Khajuria said, “Who are the political parties to decide it? It is the army
which will decide about the issue.” Khajuria said that BJP would oppose
revocation of PSA tooth and nail in Assembly.
Mainstream political parties, National Conference (NC), Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) are more dangerous for India than Hurriyat Conference
and other separatist forces. “Separatists are not a problem for India as
complicated as NC and PDP are because both blackmail New Delhi for their political
interests and run their politics on graves of innocent people,” he said, as per
a local news agency.
“NC, PDP raise Kashmir
issue, human rights violation, autonomy and Self-Rule at the time when they are
out of power. They are doing business on miseries of people,” alleged Khajuria
and added “NC and PDP are bigger threat for India than Syed Ali Geelani. India can
tackle separatists easily, but these so-called mainstream parties are a problem
for nation”.
Selected families are getting all benefits in state while poor
people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh are being discriminated. People in all
three regions have remained under-developed while politicians have made
fortunes, he said. Chief Minister’s cabinet is full of corrupt people and CM is
Ali Baba while others are 40 thieves, he added.
Meanwhile, team of MPs led by former party president Rajnath
Singh would begin a four-day tour to Jammu and Kashmir from April 11 to
understand problems of people and "prepare a roadmap" for State. BJP
spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain, who is part of team, said that high-powered
delegation would first visit Jammu and then to Kashmir. He said that team would
make another visit and submit its report to party high command.
Reacting Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s move of opposing party’s
‘Tiranga Yatra’ recently, Hussain said, "If Abdullah is working for benefit
of people, he should not have any objections to the visit." Hussain said
that BJP was aware that Centre-appointed interlocutors on Kashmir were doing
their job, but added that "our committee will also take stock of the
situation and prepare a road map for Jammu and Kashmir".
