Terrosim victim laid to rest

 

Police Officer Amanullah was laid to rest with full police protocol.

 

CHITRAL: Additional SHO (Section Head officer) of Kabal Swat Amanullah Khan who was martyred in a road bomb blast at Swat on Saturday his corpse was carried here to Chitral and was laid to rest at his ancestral grave yard at Hinjeel village of Karimabad valley. Amanullah left 5 sons and 2 daughters. His dead body was received by Sartaj Ahmad Khan Tehsil Nazim of Chitral on arrival from Swat later on who was rushed to his native town Hinjeel for burial purposes. Sartaj Ahmad Khan also demanded from the Provincial government to compensate his bereaved family for 1 million rupees and to recruit his son in police department.  Besides other his funeral prayer was also attended by NWFP Minister for Population Welfare Saleem Khan, District Police Officer Sher Akbar Khan, President PPP Chitral Zainul Abideen, a large number of civil and police officer and people belonging to all walks of life.

 

Provincial Minister for Population Welfare Saleem Khan also attended his funeral prayer and condoled the bereaved family who comfort them. Saleem Khan expressed his great sorrow over the sad demise of Amanullah Khan Sub Inspector and termed him an honest police officer. He also condoled on behalf of Provincial Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti and Prime Minister. He also announced of 0.5 million (500000) rupees for bereaved family of Amanullah Khan from Shuhuda Package (Martyred fund) he also announced that elder son of Amanullah will be recruited as Assistant Sub Inspector directly in police department. As well as his family will get his full pledge salary upto 60 years. Condemning terrorism in the country he said Amanullah sacrificed his life for the sack of nation and country. He said no one is safe until we not eradicate terrorism from the country.

 

He said the whole NWFP is in the fire of terrorism and due to tense situation we not feeling comfort. He said that some foreign hands might be involved in terrorism in the country but we should to be united against miscreants and to discourage them. He said Chitral is a peaceful land and this is our moral obligatory to not allow any miscreant, militant and terrorist or any outsider to deteriorate our peaceful environment. Later on Provincial Minister hoisted National Flag on the Grave of Martyred Amanullah Khan who was laid to rest with full police protocol. Amanullah was born in 1960 who completed his matriculation from Government high school Shuoghoor and joined police department in 1978. He was a very honest police officer and promoted promptly.
