Close to the afghan border (Nooristan & Kunar provinces), in the remote corner of N.W.F.P, a very fertile region, Chitral is located, on the western borders of this region, there live the mysterious Kalash tribes, whose origin is still an enigma to the reseachers & anthroplogists of the world.
The 3 valleys of Kalash (Romboor, Bmborate & Birir) are the abode of these ancient tribes, are accessible from Chitral town, at the drive of 2 hrs, over a dirt road.
