Peshawar: Security forces of the North Waziristan tribal area have confirmed three foreign militants were killed in a fighting between them and the forces near Mirali area Sunday.
The fresh fighting began when the militants attacked a security post while the country was celebrating its first day of Eid ul Fitr.
The three foreign militants, two of them Uzbeks, killed in the hours-long battle said local officials and military sources.
The area is under extreme fear and fright since the peace agreement is ended and a fighting is started. A few days ago, over 200 militants, soldiers and civilians were killed in fierce fighting. A curfew is imposed in the area for many days.
