LOS ANGELES, California (GroundReport) –
Tim Robbins is popular in Hollywood as an Academy Award-winning actor, director, activist and hockey fanatic.
On Friday, he got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"I used to take the bus from here to Burbank to go to work," Robbins said in an Associated Press report. "When the bus was late, I would walk up and down and throw my cigarettes down. Now I have the honor of having this done to my star."
"I am so pleased to be a part of his life" said Susan Sarandon, who is Robbins’ long-time partner, reports AP.
Robbins was born in West Covina, Calif., and raised in New York City and he hails from a family of entertainers.
