SHIMLA: Voting in the second and last phase of elections to the crucial 65 seats in Himachal Pradesh Assembly underway at a slow pace on Wednesday. Low voter turnout of about 10-15% was witnessed in the first three hours of polling.
Polling began at 8:00 am in the morning at 5,946 polling stations spread in 10 districts of the hill state.
Nearly 4.4 million voters are to decide the fate of 335 candidates – 299 male and 25 female – in the fray for 65 seats in the second phase of polling being held across 10 districts of the state.
The first phase of election took place for the three seats of Bharmaur, Lahaul and Spiti and Kinnaur on November 14.
