The United States foreign policy is not only reckless but dangerous to American troops. The absolute stupidity of our elected officials astound me sometimes!
According to one prominent former US military commander, who served in Afghanistan:
“(America’s) tax dollars are being used to help kill and main our soldiers, marines and Navy Corpsmen fighting in Afghanistan… Over the past 10 years , we’ve given the Pakistanis -primarily their military – over $20 billion dollars in aid. What did we get in return? Evidence also suggest that the Pakistani government’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) not only shelters terrorists, it helps them plan attacks.
In 2008 for example American Intelligence operatives had leaned that the Haqqani network was behind the attack on the Indian embassy in Kabul that killed fifty four people.
The New York Times reported at the time that according to two American officials, cellphones used by the attackers made calls to suspected ISI operatives before the attack?
