Chitral police arrested 5 drunk persons.
CHITRAL: According to SHO police station Chitral Bashir Khan Chitral traffic police directed a suspected vehicle coming from Dir but they not stopped their vehicle who tried to escape. Hence traffic police immediately stopped controlled their vehicle. They were drunk and also violated traffic signals. It was confirmed by DHQ hospital that the persons inside the vehicle were drunk. Chitral police lodged FIR against Zahid Hussain and Ziaullah residents of Dir upper under section No. 279 and ¾ under PHO. In an other case Chitral police arrested 3 persons who were also drunk and coming from Bumborate (Kalash valley) to Chitral. They were carried to DHQ hospital Chitral for medical report and it was confirmed that they had drunk wine. Chitral police lodged FIR under section No. ¾ PHO against Hayat Khan, Afzal Khan and Temour Shah residents of Seen village and started further investigations. It is worth to mention here that majority of Muslim Community goes to Kalash valleys of Non Muslim people where there local wine and Tarra available easily who also carrying it after drinking at Kalash valley.
Dead body of Chitral Scouts laid to rest with military honor.
CHITRAL: Dead body of a Chitral Scouts personal was buried with full military honor at his ancestral graveyard Awi. According to detail Farid Ahmad who was serving in Chitral Scouts was killed in a suicide bomb blast at Peshawar while he was on his official duty (security duty of his officer who was engaged in Askari Bank Peshawar Cantt). Corpse of Farid Ahmad was carried to Chitral in military helicopter and was laid to rest with full military honor at his ancestral graveyard of Awi.
