Nepal Association of Rafting Agents (NARA) in association of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is organizing the 8th Mountain Dew Himalayan White Water Challenge 2008 from 28-30 November 2008, at the Trishuli River, Nepal states NARA. The festival highlights Kayaking and Rafting Challenges where the competition is divided into male female, senior and junior categories with in the 18 Km of the River. The Kayaking events includes various categories like Free Style, Slalom and down river where rafting has only one challenge of raft down river. Moreover, the prize of USD 400, USD 300 and USD 200 is set for the Local winners where as USD 1000 is set for the foreign category winner.
