So how does the bollywood most famous couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrate the Valentine Day? What present does Abhi give to Ash?
Well Abhishek gave his wife the perfect Valentine’s Day gift by coming back home to spend the V’day with her.
Abhishek Bachchan took off from the shoot of Dilli 6 in Jaipur, Wednesday, February 13, to be with his wife in Mumbai for Valentine’s day. The couple have planned to watch Ash’s next release Jodhaa Akbar which hits the theatres tomorrow.
Abhi took a two day break from shooting and flew from Jaipur to Mumbai in the first flight. Abhishek is shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra"s Dilli 6 where he stars alongside Sonam Kapoor.This is the first Valentine’s Day for the couple after their marriage last April.
While in Delhi recently at a golfing event as brand ambassador for Omega watches he was asked by the media whether he prefers to see Aishwarya in the role of Jodhaa or as a detective in Pink Panther?
"I like Aishwarya the best in the role of my wife," he quipped. Aishwarya too is equally effusive when expressing her love for husband.
According to Ash every day is a simple day and every day is a celebration. What you make of every moment is what it’s all about. Admitting that she’s as curious as we are to know what the day will bring, she recalls the previous year’s Valentine’s Day when their affair was surrounded with speculation and rumours.
Asked what is the one thing she loved most about him she said, "He’s all rolled into one — a fabulous actor, a great husband and an excellent friend. I love him. He is the best in everything he does or is."
Asked about the previous V’Day she says ‘It was a very special time for us, as we were engaged. But it was quite hectic. I was shooting for Jodhaa Akbar and working full throttle. Going up and down to Karjat and knowing that marriage was not too far away, I was working at it all — completing the film and our marriage preparations,” she reminisces.
So, what’s her idea of a perfect romantic date? “Togetherness is perfect, whatever the setting,” says the Bachchan bahu . And who’s the more romantic of the two? “I really don’t know,” she blushes, adding, “We don’t get into all this. We are just very happy with each other and I think that in itself says a lot.”
And what is the most romantic thing Abhishek’s done for her? “Well, he proposed to me. To want to spend the rest of our lives together is by far the most romantic thing I could’ve experienced. It is very special, very real,” says the actress.
However, not just Abhishek, the entire Bachchan family is expected to turn up at the premiere of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s spin on Mughal history and love after marriage. ‘Father of the family,’ Amitabh Bachchan too is flying to Mumbai from the freezing environs of Shimla today to attend the event, not to mention warm his vitals!
