The nine days long exclusive IT Fair arrangement, entitled “ECS City IT Fair 2008” has been inaugurated today in ECS Computer City at Multiplan Center.
The fair has been inaugurated through a huge event with one of the most prestigious IT personality in Bangladesh Dr. Jamilur Reja Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of BRAC University and former Advisor of the Government of Bangladesh. Mr. Mustafa Muhsin Montu, Former Member of Parliament of Bangladesh and Chief Advisor of Greater Elephant Road Businessman Association has presented his speech as the Chief Speaker in the inaugural ceremony.
Mr. Amir Hossain Khan, President, Bangladesh Shop Owner Association, Mr. S A Quader Kiran, Secretary General of Bangladesh Shop Owner Association, Mr. Abdullah H Kafi, Vice President of International Organization SOC and Former President of Bangladesh Computer Samity was present in the opening event.
Mr. AT Shafique Uddin, Vice President of BCS, Mr. Yusuf Ali Shameem, Director of BCS, Mr. Ajijur Rahman, Managing Director of Index IT, Md. Waheduzzaman, Convener, Logistic Sub Committee, Mr. Nazrul Islam Hajari, Convener, Security Sub Committee and Mr. Monwar Hossain Talukder (Shyamal), Convener, Media Sub Committee of ECS City IT Fair 2008 have also presented their speech the inaugural event there.
In his speech of Chief Guest Dr. Chowdhury has said the world is turning into a global village as days goes on and this sort or events have a significant role in making our country a step ahead in the way of Information Technology. We also have to emphasize on Adult IT education by the side of IT education for the young, just to ensure the best implementation of merit to make out IT sector to flourish to a better future, he also added.
